About the Company
Elevate Snowsports is one of Niseko's newest ski/snowboard schools, launched after we noticed a demand for private lessons outside of our popular winter kid's camp. Our private lessons are tailored to each adult's and child's individual needs and learning goals. We select the most appropriate part of the mountain for our guests based on ability, learning aspirations, weather and crowds and make sure they get the most out of every minute on the hill.
Key Responsibilities
- As an Elevate Snowsports instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality lessons tailored to each guest's individual needs and learning goals. You will be expected to select the most appropriate part of the mountain for our guests based on ability, learning aspirations, weather, and crowds and ensure they get the most out of every minute on the hill while ensuring the safety of each participant in your care (Duty of Care).
Selection Criteria
- We're looking for outdoor enthusiasts who hold a valid working holiday visa or are Japanese citizens, and are fluent in English. Fluency in Japanese or Mandarin is an advantage. You should be able to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions and have a minimum of Level 1 snowsports instructor certification. Must hold a valid Japanese driver's license or be able to obtain an International Driving Permit. Although a first aid qualification is an advantage, it is not essential.

Employment Period
November 27, 2023 until March 31, 2024 or April 15, 2024 with the possibility of extension
Working Hours
Typically 8hour shifts for a maximum of 5 days per week, with 2 non-consecutive days off. During peak periods, there may be longer working days, while quieter periods may have shorter working hours.
Remuneration
Starting from ¥1,750/hour and increasing based upon qualification and experience.
