Key Responsibilities
As an Elevate Snowsports instructor, you will:
- Provide high-quality lessons tailored to each guest's individual needs and learning goals.
- Choose the most suitable part of the mountain for guests, considering their ability, learning aspirations, weather, and crowd levels.
- Maximize guests' experience on the hill, helping them make the most of every minute.
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of each participant under your supervision (Duty of Care).
- Adapt lessons to suit changing conditions and individual guest progress.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere for guests during their lessons.
Selection Criteria
- Certification in skiing or snowboarding instruction. (Minimum level 2 or crossover level 1)
- Experience teaching winter sports to individuals or groups.
- Strong interpersonal and teaching skills.
- Patience and the ability to motivate students.
- Must hold a valid Japanese driving license or be able to obtain an International Driving Permit.
- First aid and CPR certification preferred.

Employment Period
Long Season, late-November until early April | Medium season, late-November until the end of March | Short season, late-November until the end of February
Probationary Period

Working Hours
Depending on customer demand and reservations, working hours can range anywhere from 8 to 40 hours per week, including weekends. You will have at least one full day off each week. (6-8 Hours per day, up to 6 days per week)
Remuneration
The position is based on qualifications and experience, with a starting rate of ¥1,800 per hour
